2026 Long Beach State of the City

Long Beach had its State of the City on Tuesday, Jan. 14 and Long Beach Mayor Rex Richardson announced job opportunities, the 2028 Olympics and the name of the new Long Beach baseball team. However, there were multiple instances of audience members protesting yelling "Get ICE out of Long Beach," which stopped Richardson's speech from time to time and the protestors were subsequently escorted out.
