Samuel Chacko
Hello!
My name is Samuel Chacko, an award-winning multimedia journalist out of Long Beach, California!
I started as a freelance writer for Talon Marks at Cerritos College in 2021 and a few years later, I worked my way up to the Editor-in-Chief position from 2022-2023. One year later, I transferred to Cal State Long Beach and became the Managing Editor for the Daily Forty-Niner (now known as the Long Beach Current) and in 2024, I became the Photo Editor and Sports Managing Publisher for the Long Beach Current as well as I interned at the Long Beach Post.
My work focuses on writing and photography but I also have skills in videography as well as designing newspaper/magazine pages.
